In addition to the regular local hikes and bike rides that we lead at some of the many state parks in the Triangle area (Jordan Lake, Umstead, Eno River, etc.), below are the trips that attract the most attention year after year.
The mountains don't get much closer to the Triangle than Hanging Rock! Spend the night under the stars with the sounds of rushing water to put you to sleep. Choose your own level of adventure: hike to "the" Hanging Rock and then head back to enjoy an afternoon on the white sand beaches of the mountain lake, or reach for the summit at Moore's Knob - the highest point in the park - with panoramic views across central N.C. Land of the Waterfalls, Transylvania County

Mt. Rogers/Virginia Creeper Trail
